1. What is a ZENTANGLE?
Zentangles are miniature pieces of unplanned, abstract, black and white art created through a very specific method from an ensemble of simple, structured patterns called tangles.

2. Plan Following the video example, draw 4 dots on each corner. Connect the dots with wavy lines and divide this new shape into 5 sections. In each section try out a different zentangle design. Handout examples will be available in class and are also attached below.

3. Through our exploration of making Zentangles, we will combine our favorite tangles with our favorite doodles to fill our profile silhouettes. Take a look at the examples below for inspiration.
