Zentangle Animals

"Zentangle is an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. It is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing. It increases focus and creativity. "   -tanglepatterns.com

1.  Watch this video to see how to start a Zentangle.  Practice on a rough draft piece of paper.
2.  Look at silhouettes of animals and practice on the back of your rough draft piece of paper.  Try to pick a shape that is recognizable.  You do NOT have to include the entire animal.
3.  On final paper, lightly draw your animal silhouette/shape.  Fill your animal with at least 5 different zentangle designs with fine tipped sharpie.  Look below for some inspiring student examples!
